A journey taking shape.

Trails, landscapes, nature, encounters and objects are generated to shape your adventure.

Your pilgrim follows a generated trail. Meet animals and pilgrims, find objects and unlock the next part of your route. The Journal keeps track of your discoveries.

Discover the worlds

From a high ledge, large rocky islands and smaller islets float at different heights above the clouds, with a wooded island at the edge of the frame.

A pack, a few finds,
a travelling companion.

Open your pack with I. Generated clothes, weapons and keepsakes travel with your pilgrim from one world to the next.

  • Look at each item’s name and rarity in your pack.
  • Keep a companion by your side as you follow the trail.
  • Your finds stay with you between sessions. Extra distance outside your plan does not earn extra loot.

Good company on the trail

It started with
a morning walk.

I’m a solo developer. Every morning I walk on my small treadmill, and sometimes I run on it too. I wanted something to explore while I was there, but the games I tried never quite felt like what I was looking for.

I wanted procedurally generated worlds, different places to discover on each walk. So I set myself a challenge: make the game I wished I could play. Romeria is my way of bringing those worlds into an everyday routine, with the simple aim of moving regularly and looking after my health.
